With the help of Polstore 's design specialists, out of date storage systems were replaced with high density drawer cabinets - thus increasing picking rates, improving accuracy and avoiding product migration. This in turn saved on labour costs and due to the design layout utility costs, namely lighting.

	Banks of drawer storage cabinets. Each cabinet was configured for 3 types of storage - small (75mm drawer front), medium (100mm drawer front) and large (150mm drawer front).
	Internal drawer layout using plastic box storage 75 x 75 x 46mm high - 96 locations per drawer, totalling 1152 locations per cabinet.
	Internal drawer layout using plastic box storage 150 x 150 x 71mm high - 24 locations per drawer, totalling 216 locations per cabinet.
	Internal drawer layout using existing card boxes creating a larger bin location.
	Galvanised adjustable shelving for bulk storage. 7 shelf levels with 150kg UDL per level 1000 wide x 2500mm high.
